Simple Service: 31-Day Kindness Challenge
Happy New Year!
For those of you who followed, supported, and/or participated in my 31-Day Purposeful Acts of Kindness Challenge in December, thank you! Your support means more than you know, and every little kindness makes a huge difference in our world. It was a wonderful month full of so many enlightening, gratitude inspiring, and quality moments with my boys. I simply could not wait to share some of our experience with you.
As many of you know, a local service organization called Little Hands Can has become an important part of my family’s journey, and is a huge inspiration to us. They provide and arrange community service opportunities that even young children can participate in.
Each week on their Simple Service blog you can read about a simple act of service or kindness you can do with your family, even if you have very young children (yes, even babies and toddlers!). The stories are inspiring, helpful, and provide great ideas for us to try ourselves.
I am so incredibly excited to be a part of this wonderful service community and to have been asked by Miriam and Mandi to join the Little Hands Can blogging team!
I will be writing a post on their blog once every 6 weeks, and I thank them so much for having me! My first Simple Service post was sent off today entitled Simple Service: 31-Day Kindness Challenge in which I summarize my family’s experience completing our kindness challenge in December. Read it on the Little Hands Can blog, and check out the other great resources they have to offer while you’re there!
I hope you all are doing well and excited for 2018! Let’s celebrate a fresh start with our little helpers.
